hi everyone this is my first video of many in this mac short tip series i dont need to maximize my youtube watch time i just want to give you all the tips in the shortest possible time there will be lot more videos coming so subscribe to upload9 academy if you dont want to miss anything but now lets jump right into it if i select any portion of a text and press command c to copy the text will be placed in the temporary storage area which is called clipboard but what if you dont remember whats in the clipboard well there is one way to find out and you dont need any extra applications for it interestingly this feature is not part of pages or text edit its right in finder so click on the desktop to switch into finder and now go to edit menu on top here you can find the command show clipboard it brings up this little resizable window showing you exactly what is in the clipboard it works well with text you can even copy a picture there so its not only text but also some other media
