Just right-click on a database or its Tables or Queries icons and select Edit Database File. Once in Base, you can edit, add, and delete tables, queries, forms, and reports. Data can be placed into Writer and Calc documents from the tables in the data source window.
Copy: Use Edit Copy or the keyboard shortcut Control+C or the Copy icon. Paste: Use Edit Paste or the keyboard shortcut Control+V or the Paste icon.
Open your Base file. Open other incoming Base file. Incoming table right mouse click select Copy . In your Base file, right mouse click the table and select Paste .
You can do that in the main window of LO base, where you should choose the table icon which you want to copy, hit ctrl + c and then ctrl + v. A window with options will show up, letting you choose if you want to make a new table containing the records you copied or add your copied records to an already existing table.
So, highlight the row I want to copy formats from. Menu Edit Copy. Then move cursor to row where I want them copied. Click once in the first cell, menu Edit Paste Special.
To copy a style, hold down the Control key and drag the name of the style from one list to the other. If you do not hold down the Control key when dragging, the style will be moved from one list to the other. The style will be deleted from the list you are dragging it from.
You can copy a table by dragging and dropping the table onto the table area of a database file window. The Copy table dialog appears.
Right click, choose cut or copy. Go to wherever you want to insert / paste and, highlighting the first cell in the column, click paste.
