Here I have an image file and I want to copy text from this image. Were going to look at a few different ways that you can do this. Theyre all really easy to do, and chances are youve already used some of these apps before. Lets check this out. First, were going to use Google Drive together with Google Docs, and with this technique, you dont have to any software, although you will need a Google account. Head to Google.com, and in the top right-hand corner, click on the app launcher and then select Drive. On Google Drive, you can now drag and drop your image file into Drive. You could extract text from PNGs, JPEGs, GIFs, or PDFs. Once you finish uploading your file, right click on it and then select open in Google Docs. When Google Docs opens, you should see your original image file with the extracted text underneath it. You can now copy that text and you could use it anywhere. You could also go up to the file menu and you could download a Word document

The quality will not change if you copy or move the file. If you open it and save over it, it may or may not degrade. The compression (encoding) is a process that analyzes the picture to work out a mathematical description of the picture that can be represented with fewer bytes than the original.
JPGs and JPEGs are the same file format. JPG and JPEG both stand for Joint Photographic Experts Group and are both raster image file types. The only reason JPG is three characters long as opposed to four is that early versions of Windows required a three-letter extension for file names.
Right-click the filename of the graphic you want to copy, and then click Copy. Type Cancel to close the Copy To window. 2. Open your destination program, location, file or document into which you want to copy the graphic. Press Ctrl-V to paste.
If you simply copy a JPEG file, nothing changes, but if you open a JPEG file in an image editor and then save it, you will get a different JPEG file.
You do not need to open the jpeg file to copy it. Once you find it in File Explorer, right-click the file, select Copy (keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + C) .
Click the File menu and then click the Save As command. In the Save As window, choose the JPG format on the Save As Type drop-down menu and then click the Save button.
Editing a JPEG file is as easy as editing any other raster-based image file. A designer needs to open the file in their chosen image editing program and make whatever changes they need to make. Once they are done, they can use the programs Save function to save the changed file back in the JPEG format.
If you simply copy a JPEG file, nothing changes, but if you open a JPEG file in an image editor and then save it, you will get a different JPEG file.
