hello everybody welcome back its been a long time that i have not posted anything so i thought of posting something today okay um so the objective of this session today is to see how to copy an existing idoc for testing purpose say for example um you have to run some tests and you want to check how your function module is working or if in case you have worked on a recent interface program and you would like to cross check how your interface program is working whether the idoc is generating properly or not and you would like to test certain message types then how would you create your test data now to create a test data basically here i in this session i would be showing you how you can copy an existing idoc again one more time and this will help you out for your testing so basically here on the screen you can see that i have actually opened up my w02 to pick up an eye doc right now okay so im going to pick any one idoc so lets just say that we pick up uh this nine seven iroc four so

Go to Production server, T-Code We19, select the IDoc that you want to copy.. Select Inbound File, Give a File name, remember to remove the tick from Start IDOC inbound processing of file immediately and enter. and copy your source file on Application server to target file on Front End..
IDoc is an SAP object that carries data of a business transaction from one system to another in the form of electronic message. IDoc is an acronym for Intermediate Document. The purpose of an IDoc is to transfer data or information from SAP to other systems and vice versa.
Lets get started. From the productive system, access the test tool (WE19). From the toolbar, select Inbound file. In the subsequent dialog, enter the file name and location. Deselect the Start IDoc inbound processing of file immediately and enter a destination (see notes about destination) and press ENTER.
Export/Import Idoc Go te WE02. Select an Idoc No. In the menu bar click on IDOC - Print Idoc. Click on the button Local file to save the idoc data locally.
IDoc, short for Intermediate Document, is a SAP document format for business transaction data transfers. Non SAP-systems can use IDocs as the standard interface (computing) for data transfer.
Overview. IDOC is a service that collects family financial documents and distributes them to institutions on behalf of the student.
Create IDoc Type Go to transaction code WE30. Enter the name of the object, select the Basic type, and click the Create icon. Select a new option to create and enter a description for your basic IDoc type and press Enter. Pick the name of the IDoc, and then press create an icon.
