Also in the Edit Menu you have the option to redo your previous undo, or you can redo using the keyboard shortcut Shift + Control + Z (Windows) or Shift + Command + Z (Mac).
To undo or redo an operation, Choose Edit Undo or choose Edit Redo.
To copy and paste a selection in Photoshop, create an active selection with your desired selection tool. Then right-click within the selection and choose Layer Via Copy to copy the selections contents and paste it to a new layer. Alternatively, press Command or Control + C.
