something that happens a lot when people resize picture is that they dis distort it they make people either too skinny or too fat so Ill show you how to avoid that in OpenOffice writer to do this right what you need to do is right click on the picture select picture and then select the crop tab and if you see here you can scale and you also see the image size now if you notice that the width and the height are about a hundred percent so its proportionate now lets say I once change the height to 2.5 inches instead of what it was you see that my height change to 66% so I have to set the width at the same percentage 66 then I click OK and they go I have a resize picture thats proportional thats something else that you can do with this you saw the crop feature now go picture again and lets say that in this picture I just want to keep the referee I can go on the crop function here click on keep scale otherwise you will distort the picture again and in this case I will add with to the
