You can charge shipments to the shippers, recipients, or a third partys FedEx account number.
To bill Charges to the Recipient, the Recipient must have a valid FedEx Account Number and this number must be entered in the appropriate section of the Air Waybill.
There are two ways you can get a copy of your invoice. First, if you sign up to FedEx Billing by Email, you can receive PDF invoices. Alternatively, you can receive your invoices electronically with FedEx Billing Online.
If you select Rebill to another account as the dispute reason, then you must enter another payer account number in the text box provided (Account no.). The new payer account must be valid and must have agreed to be rebilled. Description of the dispute (examples): Weight should be lighter, at XX kg.
NOTE: If billing a recipient or a third party, enter their FedEx account number. Bill transportation charges or duties and taxes to: Tick the relevant box Sender / Recipient / Third Party NOTE: If billing the recipient or a third party, enter their FedEx account number.
What does Bill to Sender, Recipient or Third Party mean? Bill sender means that the charges will be billed to the FedEx account holder who exported the shipment. Bill Recipient means that the charges will be billed to the person which the shipment was meant for.
Select My Options on your Billing Online tab in the app. Next, choose Manage Users. You can invite new users by entering the first name, last name, and email address of the user you wish to invite. Once you have entered the required information, FedEx Billing Online will email an invitation to the new user.
Allow Legitimate Access If you receive an email from FedEx and agree that the person named in the email should have the ability to use your account number, you do not have to do anything. You can keep the email for reference purposes or discard it.
