Oh hi everybody! Today, Im going to talk to you about patterns, and patterns, and maybe even patterns. Ho, I really like patterns! OK, so a pattern is something that happens again and again. And when something happens again and again, we say that it repeats. REPEATS BOOP! REPEATS BOOP! REPEATS BOOP! OK, that was a pattern that was made by repeating sounds and repeating actions. But did you know we can also see patterns? Oh yes we can! For example, look at this beautiful sweater. Oh wow! If you look closely, the same kinds of stripes happen again and again: red green yellow, then red green yellow, then red green yellow. And when the same things happen again and again, and in the same order, it is called a pattern, and a pattern always repeats. REPEATS BOOP! OK, so let us practice some patterns together. And first, we are going to practice with our hands. Most people have two hands. A left hand, and a right hand. Now lets make a pattern! When I say left,

6 tips for turning you favorite garments into a pattern! Start with a t-shirt. Choose a fabric similar in type to the original garment. Add lots of markings. Use a flexible ruler to duplicate curves. Divide your garment into two halves. Adjust for fit after tracing.
The Copy Patterns option allows you to replicate a pattern. You can continue to create duplicates of the selected pattern until you move the pointer out of the work area. Example: Copying a Pattern.
Lay out your pattern on a large flat surface. Place the tracing paper over the pattern piece you want to trace. Place pattern weights or other objects over the tracing paper so it wont move around while you trace. Trace around the outline of the pattern piece. Add additional markings and labels.
