hi Im Maria speth with J Bergen wil my area of practice is intellectual property and internet law a lot of websites figure theyll just um copy from another website that does a similar type of um function or or or provides a similar service to what they provide the problem with that is twofold number one um it is actually copyright infringement its not okay to copy somebody elses terms and I conditions and it can be copyright infringement uh number two it might not really be as suited to your needs as you might think it is they might that website might perform a similar function that that you for perform but they might not do everything the same way and you might not want your rules to be exactly like their rules so I dont recommend that for both reasons you know websites terms of use we want to see things like jurisdiction if theres a lawsuit where will the lawsuit be because you dont want to get sued in some foreign country or some far in state we want to see um the rules of wh
