i dont know how useful this will be for most of you but just in case theres often times where i need a file name out of a list along with some more information so that i can end up putting it in a spreadsheet like this where ive got the file name and ive also say got the length of the file now what i used to do and if you just want the file name thats pretty easy just scroll down select all your files hold down shift and select shift right click say copy as path then you can just open up a notepad paste this in here do an edit replace and then get rid of all this stuff here for example everything in front of the file name just copy paste that in there replace with nothing say replace all do the exact same thing for the end replace all and then if you want to get rid of these underscores you can do the exact same thing except for the underscore well put a space and then hit replace all now it may put your stuff out of order youre going to see 59s up here we can just go ahead an

Steps Open File Explorer in Windows. Click in the address bar and replace the file path by typing cmd then press Enter. This should open a black and white command prompt displaying the above file path. Type dir /A:D. There should now be a new text file called FolderList in the above directory.

How to export filenames into a text file Open a Command Window (Start Run cmd) Open the command line. Navigate to the folder by using the cd command. If you need to move up a level, use cd .. Type the command dir /bfilelist.txt. This will create the text file inside that folder.
Copy Entire List of Files Hold the Shift key, right-click the folder containing a list of files and select Open Command Window Here. Type dir /b filenames. Double-click the filenames. Press Ctrl-A and then Ctrl-C to copy the list of file names to your clipboard.
Hold the shift key and then right-click on the selected file/files. You will see Copy as Path. Click that. Open a Notepad file and paste and you will be good to go.
