Copying the entire course Next to Content Type, click on the drop-down menu and select Copy a Canvas Course. In the Search for a course text box, enter the name of the course that you want to pull content from and select it from the auto-populated list. Next to Content, select the button All content. Select Import.
Open Announcement Options. Select Course. View Copy To Content Warning Message. Copy Announcement.
Log into Canvas , and navigate to the course in which you wish to compose the announcement. In the course navigation menu, select Announcements, then select + Multicourse Announcement. Enter your announcement content and settings in the Multicourse Announcement screen.
As an instructor, you can copy individual assignments in one course directly into any active course in which you are enrolled.
On your home page, on the right, select Import Existing Content. Next to Content Type, click on the drop-down menu and select Copy a Canvas Course. In the Search for a course text box, enter the name of the course that you want to pull content from and select it from the auto-populated list.
If you do want to reuse announcements imported from a previous term, be sure to open each message, edit the content for the current term, and choose when you would like to post each one. New announcements can also be scheduled to post on whatever day and time you choose.
How do I copy a Canvas course into a new course shell? Open Course. Open Settings. Copy Course Content. Create Course Details. Select Migration Content. Bulk Migrate Existing Quizzes as New Quizzes. Adjust Events and Due Dates. Copy Blueprint Course Settings.
