In this video, I will review the requirements for page margins, and demonstrate how to apply these settings to a Word document. All content within the document must meet margin requirements. The left, right, and bottom margins must be at 1 inch only. If you plan on ordering a printed, bound copy of your document, you may set the left margin to 1.5 inches. The top margin must be between 1.25 inches and 1.5 inches for the entire document unless you choose to use a 2 inch top margin for the beginning of each chapter, with a 1 inch top margin for all other pages. The page orientation may only be changed from portrait to landscape to accomodate material that would otherwise be outside of the margins.
