Copy and Paste the Selected Text Use your mouse to select any amount of text on the page. Step 2. Choose Edit Copy to copy the text selected, or you can right-click on the selected text and then select Copy or Copy With Formatting. Since you want to keep the formatting, we suggest you choose the latter.
Copy text and images from PDFs Right-click the document, and choose Select Tool from the pop-up menu. Drag to select text, or click to select an image. Right-click the selected item, and choose Copy.
Restrictions on Accessibility If the PDF file you have downloaded isnt password locked, but you are still unable to copy text, it might have restricted permissions. There is a chance that the author has made it so that no one can copy or edit his PDF files.
How to copy an entire page of text in a PDF document: Press Ctrl+C. Right-click and select Copy. Press Ctrl+Alt+C to copy text with formatting. Right-click and select Copy With Formatting.
Click Settings to make changes in Layout Settings. Click Retain Flowing Text, which will keep the same formatting but change the layout. Now click Retain Page Layout to also retain the layout of the PDF file in Word. You can also choose whether you want to include the images and comments, then click OK.
Copy specific content from a PDF Right-click the document, and choose Select Tool from the pop-up menu. Drag to select text, or click to select an image. Right-click the selected item, and choose Copy.
Copy type attributes (Eyedropper) With the Eyedropper tool , click the text that is formatted with the attributes you want to copy. (The text can be in another open document.) With the Eyedropper tool, select the text you want to change. To deselect the Eyedropper tool, click another tool.
