- Hello and welcome to the American Indian Resource Center Letter Transcription Project. My name is Kascia Samel and Im the American Indian Resource Center Librarian with LA County Library. Before we jump into the transcription portion of the program let me tell you about the American Indian resource center or for short the AIRC. It was established in 1979 and is located on the second floor of Huntington Park Library. We have the largest public library collection on American Indians and the American Indian experience was over 15,000 catalog items in our collection. And so Im super excited to give everyone a brief tour of the American Indian Resource Center. Here is our periodical section.
