Thats a trick question: Neither the copy nor design comes first the concept comes first! I love an art and copy concepting session where we can shape the big picture before getting started. First of all, there are some great undercover copywriters in the design department who help shape the copy.
Only the owner of copyright in a work has the right to prepare, or to authorize someone else to create, a new version of that work. ingly, you cannot claim copyright to anothers work, no matter how much you change it, unless you have the owners consent.

It may not necessarily be the person using the image, as they might have been granted permission by the creator. The vast majority of images on the internet are likely to be protected by copyright. The only way to be 100% sure that an image is safe to copy and use is to seek permission before you do so.
At first glance, it may seem as if its perfectly legal to copy content from a website. But is it? The short answer to this question is no, unless youve obtained the authors permission. In fact, virtually all digital content enjoys the same copyright protections as non-digital, offline content.
How to copy an image from a web page. To save (download) an image, right-click any image on a website to view the properties menu for that image, as shown below. If you want to copy that image into another document, click the Copy image option from the menu.
Copying the source code or the code behind any page is illegal, and developers must be careful not simply to recreate and then host copied codes. Font can be copied and used in similar design layouts, but if it is not original, rather an exact copy of the original, it falls under web design plagiarism as well.
