- Lets say that somebody shared a graphic, on Canva, with you, and you want to make a copy of it. Like, maybe you got my templates for pin images. Now you dont wanna edit the actual file that I sent over or that whoever shared the Canva file with you. You dont wanna edit that, because all your edits are gonna show up, especially if its a shared file. So, what do you do? Well Im gonna show you how to make a copy. So if you got the 6 Pin Templates link that I send in my emails, then youre gonna get this link and you just paste the link, or click the link to open up the file, in Canva. Now, if you got a link from someone else you would do the same process, and its gonna open it up. Now if you edit this, all your edits are gonna be there for everyone else to see. So we dont wanna be (laughing) doing that because maybe you dont want them to see your pins. Inserting a Graphic File Stored in the Same Template In the template, click the image you want to include in a DOCX document. Field borders appear around the graphic. Click the INSERT Field button. Select INSERT image. Enter a name for the DOCX document in the Image file to create field. Click OK.
How to replace an existing image with another image Select the image layer you want to change. Click Replace image on the Image Tools menu. Choose the source of your new image. It now appears in your design.
