Selecting all highlighted text is quite tricky. We would try the Select all text with similar formatting feature. But it doesnt work with highlighted text. For some weird technical reason, Word does not recognize highlighted text as a type of formatting. What we need to do is go to Find, Advanced Find, More, then go all the way to the bottom, click on the Format dialogue box, then choose highlight. We need to tell Word to find all highlighted text in the Main Document, so click that. And close. You can see that all the text highlighted in yellow have been selected. And now we can press Ctrl + C to copy, Ctr + N to create a new document, and Ctrl + V to paste all the highlighted text to the new document for easier reference. Thats it.
