3 Answers. Ctrl + Alt + V works for me. There are more answers for Word here, most of which work for PowerPoint (why you cant customize shortcuts I dont know). Notably, paste text ( Ctrl + V ); then press Ctrl for paste options to appear; then press T for pasting the text with Keep text only paste option.
Copy and paste formatting Select the object whose formatting you want to copy and press Ctrl+Shift+C. Then, select the objects that you want to have the same formatting and press Ctrl+Shift+V to paste the formatting.
You can also access this feature by going to Edit menu and holding down the Option key while clicking Paste. This will paste the copied text while maintaining the formatting of the slide or text box you are pasting it into.
