n to click and drag to select all of the text in the header once ive done that im going to go ahead and press ctrl c on my keyboard to copy the text then im going to switch over to the other document that doesnt have a header and double click in the header area to open it up then im going to press ctrl v to paste the header text into this document notice that it pastes the text directly into the header area and then all i have to do is close the header area and now both documents have the same header text.copying headers or footers from one document to another is a simple process that can be done quickly using standard editing techniques. Double clicking in the header area of the source document, copying the text, pasting it into the header area of the destination document, and closing the header area allows both documents to have the same header text.
