Welcome to GTV! Today I will be showing you how to copy parameters with the ABB ACS Basic and Advance Control Pads. Both keypads have a copy function that can copy parameters from the drive directly on to the keypad. This will allow the user to transfer saved parameters to other drives or to serve as a backup. This function can be found on the basic control pad by scrolling down from the main menu until copy appears. I can hit the soft key to enter a sub menu where I can upload or download the parameters. After pushing enter on the UL, a status will indicate the copy function. On the advance keypad I can access the main menu with the soft keys and scroll to PAR backup. Here I can scroll to upload to panel to copy the drive parameters to the keypad. I also have the option to view the backup information with the backup info option and I can download the parameters in the control panel to drive.
