Solution 1: Remove Restrictions Open the PDF document from which you want to copy the text in the UPDF application. Next, tap the Protect Using Password tool from the right panel. Select the Remove Security feature and provide the password that was used to restrict the editing of the PDF document.
Follow these simple steps to use this feature: Open the document that contains the equation you want to copy. Highlight the equation by clicking and dragging your cursor over it. Right-click on the highlighted equation and select Copy from the context menu. Open the document where you want to paste the equation.
In some cases, the secured PDFs security settings may allow you to view the PDF but restrict the ability to copy or print. In a pinch, you can take a screenshot of the text you want to copy and paste the image into another document or filetype.
The Permissions setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent the text and graphics from being copied from the PDF file, uncheck the Allow text and graphics to be copied option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled.
You may have received an access-restricted PDF. The original author of the file may not have wanted other users to copy information directly out of the document and thus used a PDF editor to restrict those functions. Again, you should contact the original author where possible if you need many passages from the text.
Open the PDF file in docHub, if you want to edit the PDF first, use the editing tools from the panel. Go to Tools Export PDF, save PDF as Word document, then do the copying pasting. (Optional) For scanned PDF, go to Tools Enhance Scans Recognize Text In this File and start the OCR process.
You can select text and press Ctrl + C to copy it to your document. In your target document, press Ctrl + V , or, if you want to paste the text without formatting, try Ctrl + Shift + V .
