welcome to todays inventor blog today were going to look at copying and pasting features so many of you may or may not know of copying the features or reusing them kind of like maybe you would I parts or I features so you can quickly do that by taking from things something from an existing design so in this case I created a new part over here and what I want to do is I actually want to take this feature of these two slots and incorporate those into my new design so rather than going through and sketching and taking those or recreating those many of you if you right-click on something may have noticed they copy and paste function so I can actually take that feature and go ahead or bolt those features and go ahead and copy that into my new design so Im going to go ahead and select paste now when I do this it becomes a paste features kind of like an eye feature and is asking me for a plane to place this on so a profile plane is the first thing that needs to be met so in this case Im
