I think before I begin my talk um proper I just want to give a little bit of context to what Iamp;#39;m going to say today because what Iamp;#39;m presenting um this evening is a very much new research and work in progress but it relates to a study a kind of bigger study that I started back in 2017 and that was a technical study on the black princes Effigy and that was a study that I undertook it was a kind of transatlantic partnership so I did that alongside Emily Piggies from the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC and also a specialist a Metals conservator called Graham MacArthur from UCL and I wonamp;#39;t kind of go into detail about that study now but if youamp;#39;re interested in what we discovered about the Black Princeamp;#39;s Effigy how it was made and his armor there are some YouTube films kind of documenting us uh up scaffolding looking at The Monuments conducting the study and also thereamp;#39;s a Iamp;#39;ve got it here thereamp;#39;s a a kind of publicati
