Today's tutorial demonstrates how to use cloudHQ's Gmail email templates extension to convert received emails into customizable templates. After opening an email, select the Save To icon and then Convert to Template. With one click, the extension converts the email into a customizable template saved in the My Templates tab. Download the template and edit it easily, including adding HTML if desired. Templates are stored in Google Drive in a folder named Gmail Templates for easy access.

Select View Source Edit from the messages menu. Click on the Source tab at the bottom of the window. Edit the HTML source as much as you like.
Change the format of all new messages On the File tab, choose Options Mail. Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, click HTML, Plain Text, or Rich Text.
Once you open the Mail format tab, you can access the Message format section. Here, click on the drop-down menu and select HTML from the list of options. Finally, click Apply to change the email format to HTML and save your settings.
Right-click on the page to view the raw HTML of your email, then select View Page Source. Highlight the content on the page, right-click, then select Copy to copy emails HTML to the clipboard.
In the Save as dialog box, in the Folder pane, choose a folder, and then the location in that selected folder where you want to save the file. In the File name box, type a name for the file. In the Save as type list, choose HTML and then choose Save.
In Microsoft Outlook, double-click to open an email. Youll see an Actions menu under the Message tab. Click on that menu and select the Other Actions, then click on View Source to see the HTML code.
Select All or Ctrl+A. Copy or Ctrl+C. Paste into your mail editor/mail box.
To convert an email to a PDF, youll first need to navigate to the Print dialog box within the specific email you want to convert. The Print dialog box might be represented by a printer icon, or might be found under additional menu options. Click Print. Select Save As PDF or Export As PDF from the Print dialog box.
If you need to copy and paste any text into Outlook, you dont need to manually open a window first e.g. new email. All you need to do is copy the text to your clipboard and then in Outlook press Ctrl+V (the keyboard shortcut to paste). This will automatically create a new email or appointment etc.
The defines a field for an e-mail address. The input value is automatically validated to ensure it is a properly formatted e-mail address. To define an e-mail field that allows multiple e-mail addresses, add the multiple attribute. Tip: Always add the tag for best accessibility practices!
