Amazon has announced that Kindles now support epub files, although there may be some technical limitations. To get an epub file onto your Kindle, you need to email the file to your Kindle email address. Epub files are one of the most common electronic book formats, so this new support is a significant development for Kindle users.

It will give you some errors that the book may have, so you can use a program like Calibre to fix it. EPUB files sent through Send to Kindle will not have library covers on a Kindle e-readers, though they will if you use Kindle for Android or iOS. There is currently no workaround for this.
The Method We Recommend: Email If you are sending an EPUB file to your Kindle device, right now the only way to do it is through email. While the Send to Kindle desktop app makes things super simple, it currently does not support EPUB, but we do know that this is coming later in 2022.
To copy selected text from ebooks of ePub, MOBI and FB2 formats simply select the needed text and either choose the Copy option from the appeared context menu or press Ctrl+C hotkey combination. After that, the text will be copied to your clipboard.
If you are sending an EPUB file to your Kindle device, right now the only way to do it is through email. While the Send to Kindle desktop app makes things super simple, it currently does not support EPUB, but we do know that this is coming later in 2022.
EPUB truly is a very common format for eBooks, but until May 2022 it was not compatible with Kindle eReaders. Thankfully, Amazon supports sending EPUB files to Kindle devices now and MOBI files are no longer supportedas of August 2022.

The Amazon Kindle will only be able to accept DRM-Free EPUB files, so they cant handle books that have purchased from other ebook retailers. When you upload a DRM-Free EPUB book using the Send to Kindle feature, Amazon will not be natively supporting this file format.
