hello Jonathan Landeros for qatif technologies and in this video Im going to show a brief tip on how to copy a drawing view from one sheet to another first Im going to take a look at the views I want to copy these happen to be the base plate for a router jig but what I really need is a destination sheet so Im going to create that by hitting the new sheet icon now Ill go ahead and switch back to the source sheet again hold down the control key and select the views I want to copy now I right-click and choose copy now I just move my mouse over the sheet that I want to paste the copies to right-click and choose the paste option itll switch over to that sheet and now my views are already copied next I can go ahead and change notes delete things add things whatever I need to do to go ahead and get what I need from this sheet without having to place the same view and make it match the previous view its pretty simple a really nice tip when you need it I know I use this a lot back in my

On the source drawing, select the objects. Copy them to the Windows clipboard (Ctrl + C). On the target drawing, paste them (Ctrl + V).
All you need is a soft graphite pencil or stick. Take the graphite and cover the back of the surface of the drawing that you want to transfer. This is called carboning the surface. Lay the drawing down on the surface that you to transfer the drawing to and then just trace the image.
Press Ctrl+Shift+C or enter COPYBASE at the command prompt or . Select the base point. Select the objects to copy and press Enter. The objects are now available to be pasted into the same drawing or another drawing.
