hello this is Jonathan Landers for ctiv Technologies in this weeks video Im going to show how a drawing sheet can be copied out of one drawing and pasted into a completely different brand new drawing so lets go ahead and get started here I have my drawing sheet and Im going to go ahead and copy this into a new drawing file Ill go ahead and start up my new drawing and Cascade the windows so theyre stacked on top of each other now I activate the source drawing move my cursor to the browser right click on the sheet I want and choose the copy option next I activate the destination drawing by left clicking and I paste by moving my cursor over the drawing title in the browser right-clicking and choosing the paste option just as simple as that the drawing sheet from The Source will be copied into the destination and Im ready to go thats it for this quick tip and well see you in next weeks video thank you very much

Drawing templates may be referenced when creating a new drawing. They automatically create the views, set the desired view display, create snap lines, and show model dimensions based on the template. Drawing templates contain three basic types of information for creating new drawings.
Finally, you save the drawing document as a template. Click File Save As. In the dialog box: Select Drawing Templates (*. drwdot) in Save as type. Click New (Standard toolbar). In the dialog box, click Advanced if you are in novice mode. Click the Templates tab. The Templates tab shows the template, ISO drawing.
Click the Drawing Sheet List tab. Right-click the drawing sheet set or the subset in to which you want to import the drawing sheet and select Import Sheet from the context menu. In the dialog box, click Browse. Browse for the drawing containing the sheet to import and click Open.
To import project templates: Click New Project (Quick Access toolbar). In the dialog box, click Import . Select a template to import.
