[Music] some stage almost everybody needs to reproduce a drawing from a book or from a newspaper or just another drawing and lots of ways of doing it carbon paper tracing paper and so on but heres a very simple way and its not a bad one either first of all you need to get yourself some glass or some perspex and an off cut piece of perspex is good because its safe it doesnt break and shatter but its expensive and sometimes hard to get hold of so probably the most likely thing youll find is this an old picture frame with the glass still in it and thats a very good thing to get because it means its pretty safe you cant cut yourself on the edge but make sure you tape the glass in so it cant fall out on the desk and break then youll need a desk lamp and of course whatever drawing you want to reproduce now get this thing upright beside your drawing around about that position there and if you use some large heavy books youll be able to hold it perfectly safely and stop it moving a

You may just speak to the person directly and it gets resolved. It may end up with some legal aid to help solve the issue and anything in between. But have the peace of mind that it will get sorted and you will always own that copyright of your art.
To copy an image by hand, you can make a grid structure to superimpose over the image. Using your grid, copy one square inch of the painting or drawing a time. Eventually, youll have an accurate replica of the image.
For one, its a great way to learn. By copying the work of others, you can see how they achieved their results and learn their techniques. You can also get inspired by their ideas and find new ways to express your own creativity. Copying can also help you build your skills and become a better artist.
When an artist copies an art work its called an art reproduction or reproduction oil painting or simply replica art. Artists have been copying art since the 15th century with copies of woodblock illustrations.
Its cool to make exact copies of works by famous (and often dead) artists to learn (its called a study). If you show the work publicly, you will want to be clear about the source art. Its not cool to copy if you are a big company and you steal an artists ideas for your soap packaging or what have you.
If you copy someone elses work, the right thing to do is credit the original author. That is, explicitly state what youre producing is a copy, or replica. You are not to sell it, or redistribute the work without the original authors explicit permission.
Tracing:Drawing over the original art line by line. Even using just part of the drawing is still tracing. Even if I changed the character to my own or flipped/rotated it, its still tracing. ALWAYS credit the original artist if you trace. Copying:Imitating or drawing similarly to the original art.
Forms of Art Plagiarism Plagiarists copy sketches, paintings, photos, and even sculptures. When you copy someone elses art without consent or credityou are stealing. Even mere using of filter, changing of color, and adding of clip art or text are part of this poor practice.
