How do you copy dot in report with DocHub?

  1. First, import your report to DocHub.

Make sure the NUM LOCK key is turned on on your keyboard. Hold down ALT, and then using numeric keypad, type 0183. This is the character code for the bullet.
Go to the Insert tab and click on the Symbol button. In the dialog box, select the dot symbol.
Follow these writing tips to make your bullet points the best possible: Write in short phrases: Effective bullet points are short and to the point. Remove transition words: Bullet points dont need to be full sentences. Emphasize the first few words: For longer bullets, summarize the main point in the first few words.
Select and hold the Alt key on the numeric keypad. Type the bullet alt code (0149) in sequence using the numeric keypad. Release the Alt key after typing the numeric code to insert the first bullet point in the document. Repeat for the second bullet point and so on.
To copy the selected bullet list, hover over the Home menu and choose Copy. The alternate way to copy a text is to right-click using the mouse and choose Copy option, and the keyboard shortcut to copy is Ctrl + C.
The Keyboard Shortcut for Typing a Dot Symbol To type the dot symbol on your keyboard, turn on the numeric keypad by pressing NumLk , hold Alt and press the 0 , 1 , 4 , and 9 keys in succession. If you dont type the numbers with the numeric keypad, the dot symbol will not show.
Heres a step-by-step guide: Open Word and create a new document. Put your cursor where you want the bullet points. On the Home tab, click the Bullets button in the Paragraph group. A drop-down menu appears with various bullet styles. Select one by clicking on it.
To create the bullet point shortcut on a PC youll need to be a bit more dexterous. Use the Alt keyboard sequence, ensuring that the num lock is open. Press Alt-0-1-4-9 then, upon lifting the Alt key youll see a delicious bullet point.
