Mac: ⌘ + c for Copy, ⌘ + x for Cut, and ⌘ + v for Paste.
Command-F: Find items in a document or open a Find window. Command-G: Find Again: Find the next occurrence of the item previously found. To find the previous occurrence, press Shift-Command-G.
Technically, you can also go to Edit and scroll down to Paste and Match Formatting or Paste and Match Style, but who wants to go back to that much mouse clicking? On a PC, theres not a catch-all shortcut thatll work across every application. But, for example, in Chrome and Firefox, you can use Control + Shift + V.
Command-X: Cut the selected item and copy it to the Clipboard. Command-C: Copy the selected item to the Clipboard. This also works for files in the Finder. Command-V: Paste the contents of the Clipboard into the current document or app.
Ctrl+Alt+V, A This shortcut will paste all of the formatting from your source data, including the borders. So, if your source data has bold text and a yellow background, those formatting features will be applied to the destination cells.
Keyboard shortcuts To copy the formatting of selected text: Press Ctrl + Alt + c (Windows or Chrome OS) or ⌘ + Option + c (Mac).
Click where you want the text to appear, then do one of the following: Paste the text with its current formatting into a new paragraph: Choose Edit Paste, or press Command-V on the keyboard. Paste and match the style of the text where youre pasting: Choose Edit Paste and Match Style.
Copy text, pictures, and movies in documents on Mac Copy within a document: Select an item to copy, then press and hold the Option key and drag the item to a new location in the document. Copy from one document to another: Open both documents, select an item to copy, then drag it to the other document.
