Select the text you want to copy and press Ctrl+C. Place your cursor where you want to paste the copied text and press Ctrl+V.
Hold the Ctrl and Shift keys and press Up arrow and it will select all cells up to and including the copied cell. (It does not matter that the copied cell is included in the destination selection.) Hold Ctrl and press V to paste. (Shift/Insert also will paste.)

Paste Special options Select the cells that contain the data or other attributes that you want to copy. On the Home tab, click Copy . Click the first cell in the area where you want to paste what you copied. On the Home tab, click the arrow next to Paste, and then select Paste Special. Select the options you want.
Copy and Paste Select the cell or cell range you want to copy. Click the Copy button on the Home tab. Press Ctrl + C. Click the cell where you want to paste your data. Click the Paste button. Press Ctrl + V.
Try it! Select the cell or column that contains the text you want to split. Select Data Text to Columns. In the Convert Text to Columns Wizard, select Delimited Next. Select the Delimiters for your data. Select Next. Select the Destination in your worksheet which is where you want the split data to appear.
Copy cells by using Copy and Paste Select the cell or range of cells. Select Copy or press Ctrl + C. Select Paste or press Ctrl + V.
