tep is to select the data that needs to be split. In this case, we want to split the data into the X and Y components. To do this, we first select the entire column that contains the data. Then, we go to the "Data" tab in Excel and click on the "Text to Columns" button. This will open a dialog box where we can choose how to split the data. We select the "Delimited" option since our data is separated by some sort of delimiter, which in this case is a space. After selecting the delimiter, we click "Next" and choose the format for our data columns. In this tutorial, we choose the "General" format.
