Were also gonna discuss what types of things can actually be copyrighted, what we call the subject matter. But first, lets talk a little bit about the history of copyright law in the United States. Why the United States? Not because the US is exceptional and not because Im a cultural imperialist trying to erode the identity and fabric of foreign nations.
