Step-by-step guide on how to make a quote Choose a quotation template. Enter business-related information. Add a quote number. Include the date of issue and expiry. Provide a detailed list of your products and services. Mention specific terms and conditions. Provide a timeline. Add other business or client details.
To download an existing custom template: Select to Settings Commerce. Click Configure Salesforce.com Quote Templates. In the Template Name section on the Manage Quote Templates page, click the name of the template you want to download.

From Setup, enter Templates in the Quick Find box, then select Quote Templates (Lightning Experience) or Templates under Quotes (Salesforce Classic). Click New, and then select a template, such as Standard Template , on which to base your new template.
Set Up Quotes From Setup, enter Quote in the Quick Find box, then select Quote Settings (Lightning Experience) or Quotes Settings (Salesforce Classic). Select the option for enabling quotes. Optionally, select the Create Quotes Without a Related Opportunity checkbox, and then click Save to enable that feature.
Select a Template. Creating winning quotes is a learning process. Add Client Information. Make sure you include who the quote is for. Enter the Quote Number. Include a Date of Issue. Enter Products or Services. Add Terms and Conditions. Include Notes. Add Optional Details.
