yes my name is Eric Santa the Sans from a PC and I want to answer a quick question about whether or not you can be terminated after giving two weeks notice theres an old adage at least theres an old custom that if you give your employee two weeks notice that you should be able to work the two weeks well Im going to give you um some not just a history but a little tip the employer does not have to accept a two weeks notice as soon as you give notice that youre gonna leave or youre going to final the employment the employee could terminate you now the question is are you entitled to work the two weeks no New York state is the employment state so therefore youre not entitled to anything other than to receive the payment benefits that the employer you agreed upon when you took the job the other question is well if the person terminates you do you have a legal claim uh no theres no such thing as wrongful termination in the state of New York now however if determination is based upon
