Select the range of cells with the conditional formatting you want to copy. Right-click on the selected cells and choose Copy (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C on Windows/Chrome OS or ⌘+C on Mac). Select the target range where you want to apply the copied conditional formatting.
Copy conditional formatting If you have a conditional formatting rule that you want to use for new data, copy the conditional formatting to the new data using the Format Painter. Click a cell that has the conditional formatting you want to copy. Click HOME Format Painter. The pointer changes to a paintbrush.

Select the control that has the conditional formatting you want to copy. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, double-clickFormat Painter. Click the all the controls to which you want to copy the formatting. Click Format Painter again to end the format-painting process.
Use the keyboard shortcut to apply the formula to the entire column, including any new rows you insert: Ctrl + d (Windows) or Cmd + d (Mac). The formula will be copied to the entire column and applied to new rows as soon as they are added.
Select the range of data that you want to apply conditional formatting to. Go to the Home tab in Excel. Click on Conditional Formatting in the Ribbon. Choose New Rule from the drop-down menu.
