You cannot directly copy and paste a drawing within Google Sheets as you might with text or cells. However, you can duplicate drawing objects by editing the original drawing, copying the objects, and pasting them into a new drawing within the same or a different sheet.
Exporting cell notes To export all cell notes in the Sheets file, click on the Export all cell notes button on the Cell Notes toolbar. A dialog will appear with all cell notes in it. From there you can copy/paste the cell notes into another application, or print (ctrl-p).
Copy the comments: Right-click on the selected comments and choose Copy. Alternatively, press Ctrl + C. Switch to the destination document: Click on the tab of the destination document where you want to paste the comments.
Workaround: Export the Google sheet to Excel . XLXS. Save the sheet as XLSM (macro enabled) Open the sheet and you will see that all the comments are converted to Excel Notes. u/khanabeel wrote this Excel post on how to convert a note to text using VBA. Copy the new column of text to your Google Sheet.
To copy and paste, you can use keyboard shortcuts: PC: Ctrl + c for Copy, Ctrl + x for Cut, and Ctrl + v for Paste. Mac: ⌘ + c for Copy, ⌘ + x for Cut, and ⌘ + v for Paste.
How to Copy a Value Using Keyboard Shortcuts Click the cell that you want to copy. Press Ctrl + C on Windows or Cmd + C on Mac to copy the cell. Click the cell where you want to paste the value. Press Ctrl + Shift + V on Windows or Cmd + Shift + V on Mac. The new cell will now contain a value, not a formula.
How to copy comments in Excel Select the cell(s) from which you want to copy the comments and press Ctrl + C to copy those cells. Select the destination cell, or the upper-left cell of the target range. Press the paste special shortcut (Ctrl + Alt + V), and then press C to paste only comments. Press the Enter key.
the only way to copy comments from a given sheet is to make a global copy of such sheet: go to File. select Make a copy choose Copy comments.
