School Transcripts Employers cant see the courses and grades an applicant completed and received. Transcripts must be directly requested from the school by the applicant and cant be accessed through a regular employment background check.
Wherever you are based, understand that this letter cannot suggest your company is making any immediate decisions based on the background screening or review. The letter simply alerts the prospective employee that their application is on hold for a reasonable amount of time while the adverse findings are reviewed.
A designated HR representative will review all results. The HR representative will notify the hiring manager regarding the results of the check.
Employers dont always contact you immediately after receiving the results of a background check. They may do so if theyve already extended a job offer, and there was nothing of concern noted during the background check.
These types of background checks compare information on the resume against information directly from the source to see if there are differences in prior positions held, job titles, dates of employment, and reasons for leaving.
Background checks may be shared and discussed, but only with authorized parties, like the hiring manager.
