Serif fonts help with readability, and are therefore preferable in the body of a book. The serif is the decorative stroke that finishes each end of a letter (think Times Roman). Serif fonts are easier on the readers eye than sans-serif fonts; the stroke leads the readers eye from one letter to the next.
In print, the optimal point size for body text is 1012 point.
Fonts Suitable for Body Copy. In print, Times New Roman has been the go-to font for body copy for years. It meets the readability requirement and doesnt bring attention to itself.
To copy text use standard Android capability for that: Long tap the text, and when the text is highlighted you can see on the top bar a button of two rectangles, if you tap that button the highlight text will be copied to your clipboard. Then you can simply paste the copied text to a new email or wherever you need to.
The body copy focuses on explaining the details of your main idea and communicates the special features of your product or service. Its the primary text in your content or in an ad.
Drag the set of bounding handles to highlight all the text you want to copy. Tap Copy on the toolbar that appears. Tap and hold on the field where you want to paste the text until a toolbar appears. This can be the URL bar or any text field.
Most books, newspapers, and magazines use serif fonts for body text. Its the traditional choice and still the best choice. On the web, body text can be in a sans serif or serif font. Sans serifs were once preferred for screen text because they rendered better on the lower-resolution screens of the past.
Serif Fonts Garamond. This graceful font was developed in France in the 16th century and has a classical feel. Georgia. This elegant yet sturdy font was designed in 1993 and is also the best font for small print. Palantino. Caslon. Minion Pro. Merriweather.
For text, tap and hold a word until highlighted. Drag handles to highlight desired text Copy in another app, tap and hold Paste. For URLs, in browser, tap and hold web address Copy Address in another app, tap and hold Paste. To cut, tap and hold a word until highlighted.
You can right-click on highlighted text to pull up an action menu, or you can use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl + X is cut, Ctrl + C is copy, and Ctrl + V is paste. Alternately, many modern email clients allow you to simply highlight, click, and drag swatches of words around the text editor.
