hi everyone Jim from javelin here with another SolidWorks tech tip I have here a sheet metal tray and I want to I want to mount something to it so I have some m6 holes here but since the sheet metal parts only one and a half mil thick if I were to try and thread these holes Id strip the threads off so Im going to Im going to Im going to weld some nuts onto here to will put them on this side so what I want to do is I want to Im going to drag and drop the nut in but actually before I do that I want to make sure that I have a configuration for m6 so to do that Im just going to click create an assembly oops and then Ill go over here and Ill drag and drop the nut and Ill just make sure that Ive created an m6 configuration of it I dont need to save the assembly and Ill go back to here and Im going to drag and drop this in Im going to ask me if Im making a derived part Im going to say yes because Im creating a basically creating a derived part within within the context of th
