hi guys in this video im going to show you how you can remove highlights and background colors from pasted text in microsoft word and im going to tell you three methods that you can use so as you can see i pasted this text from the internet and it has this blue background color on it and i want to remove it so the first method that im going to use is that i am going to highlight this entire text then on my keyboard im going to select control and space and there we have it the highlight is removed now this works in different versions of microsoft word im currently using microsoft word 2010 but it will also work in 2013 and 2016. and two other methods that i want to show you if that one that i just showed you didnt work you can highlight the entire text make sure youre on your home tab then you want to go to the paragraph section and you want to click this little paint pan and then you want to ensure that no color is selected and the other method that i want to show you is that y

Another easy option is to open Notepad on your computer and paste your text into that. Then you can copy the text from Notepad and paste it into Microsoft Word. Notepad does not support additional formatting, so this will remove any extra backgrounds and formatting.
Insert a background Picture or image in Word On the Design tab, select Watermark Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture. Select or clear Washout. Select OK.
The best and easiest way to add a background image to any Google Docs is by using the Watermark feature. Youll find this feature, which was added in late 2021, in the Google Docs menu under Insert Watermark. The Watermark sidebar will appear with two tabs. On the Image tab click on Select Image to choose an image.

Open the word document. Left click on the image so its selected. Right click the image and select copy. Open paint (or any other image application you are familiar with) Paste in the image. Crop the image. Save the image with an appropriate name. Right click the saved image and select set as desktop background
