I am going to show you how to paste content from Microsoft Word into Salesforce and to troubleshoot some of the problems that inherently happen when you are doing this. OK. We have a Salesforce template here- this is a test of the Multipurpose template and I am just going to go to Content and pick up a Content Block- the letter block. Just drag it over and we are going to replace this text. So coming over to Microsoft Word, I have a document here. It has some hyperlinks in it. So very quickly I am going to show you what happens. It has formatting, it has hyperlinks, and we do want to keep the hyperlinks, but we dont want to keep the formatting. So (in Salesforce) click on edit and over here we will paste in that content. And you will see, the hyperlinks came through, its the wrong color, its the wrong type face. So that didnt really work. I am just going to undo that. Another approach is to take the text from Microsoft Word and strip out the formatting, it makes a blank slat
