Hi everyone, my name is Kevin and today I want to show you how you can convert a PDF file into a Word file. Its easier than you think, and as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft. OK, so here I am on my desktop, and I have a file called name.pdf. Im going to go ahead and open this. This is just a sample resume file that I found online, and it has things like a photo. You have some text in here. You could insert your name, so its kind of a somewhat complex PDF because it has graphics, and it has text. And now we want to convert this into a .docx file, .docx kind of hard to say there. And so what Im going to do is, I said its easier than you think it is. Im going to open up Microsoft Word. So here Word is going to open up, and this is the new Word start page. Im going to put these. Im going to have my Word on the side and then the PDF over here. So, what Im going to do, is Im going to click on the name.pdf, my PDF file on the desktop and Im simply going to drag it over into Wo

Add a password to docHub (pdf) Open the PDF and choose Tools Protect Encrypt Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
To password-protect your PDF documents, you will need docHub Reader Pro or docHub. The free version of docHub Reader does not have the necessary features to encrypt a PDF document.
How to Password Protect a PDF File Without Acrobat Open a Word document via Microsoft Word. Click File and choose Save As. Select Browse where the PDF will be saved. Pick PDF (*.pdf) from the Save as type dropdown. Hit the Option button. Enable the Encrypt the document with a password option then click OK.
Follow these easy steps to create a PDF password: Click the Select a file button above or drag and drop a PDF into the drop zone. Enter a password, then retype it to confirm the password. Click Set password. Download the password-protected PDF document or sign in to share it.
Acrobat 7.0 And Later (PDF 1.6) encrypts the document using the AES encryption algorithm with a 128-bit key size. Acrobat X And Later (PDF 1.7) encrypts the document using 256-bit AES. To apply 256-bit AES encryption to documents created in Acrobat 8 and 9, select Acrobat X And Later.
#2 Convert Secured PDF to Word with docHub If your file is only protected with an owner password, you can directly export the secured PDF to Word; if your file is protected with an open password, you need to input the correct open password to open the file in docHub, then export the secured PDF to Word.
Open the document in Acrobat. Right click on the document and click on Document properties. Go to Security tab. Select Password security from security method. Click on Change settings. Check the box which says Restrict editing. Un check all the other boxes.
