Welcome to this new training. Did you know that it was quite possible and very easy to convert a pdf into a powerpoint presentation or slideshow. I will work with 2 pdf files that I will put in the middle, for example I will open this pdf which talks about the fundamentals of VAT and as you can see there are several slides. I actually have 9 pages. It is obvious that if I were to work on this pdf and transform it into a powerpoint presentation, I would have to take it element by element and recognize that it would be tedious and quite long to do this transformation. I found a very simple possibility that I will show you. I will connect directly to an Ilovepdf website, I will of course put you in the description the link or the url so that you have access. For example if I click on this button and select the pdf file, I will first close my pdf file here, I will go and get this pdf file which is on my desktop vat presentation, I have a preview of the first page and here on your righ

A Patent is an intellectual property right relating to inventions and is the grant of exclusive right, for limited period, provided by the Government to the patentee, in exchange of full disclosure of his invention, for excluding others, from making, using, selling, importing the patented product or process producing
Change of Owner (Assignment) and Change of Owner Name The original owner should record the assignment or name change with the USPTOs Assignment Recordation Branch by filing a Recordation Cover Sheet along with a copy of the actual assignment or proof of name change.
Even under the old system, i.e., the first to invent system, a poor mans patent standing alone, i.e, without a patent application, was worthless. You cannot access the court system and ask a judge or a jury to enforce a right that the U.S. Government does not even recognize as a right.
A poor mans patent is essentially writing out a description of your invention and then mailing that written description to yourself. This postmarked envelope supposedly acts to create the date of your invention as the date this written description was postmarked.
The assignment records, relating to original or reissue patents, including digests and indexes (for assignments recorded on or after May 1, 1957), and published patent applications are open to public inspection at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and copies of patent assignment records may be obtained
While, under the first to invent patent system, there may have been some merit to the notion of documenting the date of conception of an invention in this way, the poor mans patent is not a formally recognized procedure and does not actually confer any rights to the inventor.
The cheapest way to get Patent Pending status is to file a provisional patent application. All that is required is a detailed description of the invention, an informal drawing, and a synopsis of how you came up with the idea. For small entities, the application fee is $130 and for large companies it is $260.
Updated October 28, 2020: People have used a poor mans trademark for years. Also called a poor mans copyright, this entails a person mailing their own art and writing to themselves through the U.S. Postal Service. These pieces of mail are not opened once received.
