here we have a very simple worksheet Excel allows you to jump to the end of the worksheet by pressing ctrl + end if we do that with my simple worksheet the cursor jumps to d5 this is a helpful navigational tool unfortunately it is easy to get confused lets move the cursor to a cell well away from the current data and enter a number now control in naturally jumps to that cell this is exactly what you would expect now lets delete that number now the end of the worksheet is back to d5 or is it if I press control end the cursor continues to go to that blank cell and not d5 lets try clearing and deleting the extra rows and columns you control-n still takes me to that old cell and not d5 this is not just annoying it is also a wasteful since this affects the file size and of course it makes navigation more difficult however it is quick and easy to reset the end of the worksheet this uses a macro command but you do not need to understand the command to use it first press alt 11 to open up

The general steps are: Create an empty Project in Primavera P6, add and assign an activity code, then export into an XER file. Open the XER file in Microsoft Excel. Insert the rows to define the Activity Code and Activity Code Values. Save the Microsoft Excel worksheet as an XER file. Import the XER file into Primavera P6.
Export projects to an XER file Open the projects you want to export. Choose File, Export. Choose Primavera PM - (XER). Select the appropriate version from the pull-down menu. Choose Project. Click Next. Mark the Export checkbox for all projects you want to export.
To export your Primavera P6 schedule to Excel, go to File Export and choose Spreadsheet - (XLSX) as your export format and click Next: Check the Activities box and click Next again: Choose the project(s) that you want to export and click Next again: Choose an Excel export template.
Open a PDF file in Acrobat. Open a PDF file in Acrobat. Click on the Export PDF tool in the right pane. Choose spreadsheet as your export format, and then select Microsoft Excel Workbook. Click Export. If your PDF documents contain scanned text, Acrobat will run text recognition automatically.
Choose File Export Save Project as File, and under Other File Types, double-click Microsoft Excel Workbook.
Mark the Export WBS checkbox to export the Work Breakdown Structure with the project. In the Export OBS field, click to select the structure you want to export as the OBS for the project. On the Project page, enter data into each required field. Optionally enter data into the other fields.
You can export activity data to Excel using the right-click menu in the Activity Table. Right-click in the Activity Table and choose Export to Excel. P6 Professional will export the columns displayed in the Activity Table for the open project.
If you want to sort, filter, report on, or share your Planner plan with people who arent members of the plan, you can export your plan to Excel. In your plan header, select the three dots (), then choose Export plan to Excel. When asked what you want to do with [Plan name]. xlsx, choose either Open or Save.
