In this tutorial, we learn how to display JSON data in Microsoft Excel using Power Query, available in Microsoft 365. The example JSON structure consists of a root element and an array of users, which we aim to convert into rows in Excel, with fields as column headings. To start, we open a blank workbook, navigate to the "Data" tab, and select “Get Data from File” to choose the JSON format. After selecting our sample JSON file, the Power Query Editor opens, allowing us to make any necessary formatting adjustments. This process enables an organized presentation of JSON data in Excel, leveraging the capabilities of Power Query.
