Im Barbara Steinberg and Im going to demonstrate how to convert a bank statement into an error free Excel worksheet using all Tia solutions financial investigation toolkit and financial analysis toolbar this is a three step process step number one Im going to grid the data what that means is I will scroll down the statement pages and go I come to pages with actual transactions on it Ill take my mouse and just draw a box around where the transactions are and you can see that its put in row and column dividers it looks like I have an extra column divider here so Im just going to go over to my column delete tool click once and its gone next page also has transactions so I am going to capture those as well and that looks fine then Im going to scroll down to my next data page and capture these transactions and I just keep doing this throughout the entire bank statement until Ive got all the transactions that I want to convert put into my converted file okay that looks fine as well

On the External Data tab, in the Export group, click Excel. In the Export - Excel Spreadsheet dialog box, review the suggested file name for the Excel workbook (Access uses the name of the source object). If you want, you can modify the file name. In the File Format box, select the file format that you want.
Signing in to Spreadsheet Sync from within QuickBooks Online Advanced or Excel Select the Settings ⚙ icon. In the dropdown menu, select Spreadsheet Sync. From the side navigation panel, select Reports. Select the caret ^ next to Create new report in the upper right, then select in spreadsheet. Open Spreadsheet Sync.
Go to Business overview and select Reports (Take me there). Search for and select the report you want to export. At the top of the report, select the Export icon. Then select Export to Excel.
Items Go to the Lists menu, then select Item List. Select the Excel drop-down, then choose Export all Items. In the Export window, choose Create a comma separated values (. csv) file. Select Export. Assign a file name, then choose the location where you want to save the file. Locate, open, and edit the file as needed.
Export customer data from the Reports page Go to Business overview and select Reports (Take me there). Under the Sales and Customers section, select Customer Contact List. Note: You can modify this report by selecting Customize. Select the Export icon next to the Print icon, then choose Export to Excel.
If you didnt Microsoft Office first, uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks Desktop. When youre done, go back into QuickBooks and export a report. If you still cant, you may need to follow the steps from Microsoft to uninstall and reinstall Excel.
Go to Business overview and select Reports (Take me there). Search for and select the report you want to export. At the top of the report, select the Export icon. Then select Export to Excel.
What can I import into QuickBooks? Credit notes can be imported with multiple line items OR as a total value for each invoice. Multi-currency is supported.
