The QuickBooks Excel Add-In is a powerful tool that allows you to connect to live data from QuickBooks, with full read/write capabliity, directly from Microsoft Excel.
Search for and select the report you want to export. At the top of the report, select the Export icon. Then select Export to Excel. Save the file somewhere you can easily find, like your Downloads folder or your desktop.
If you didnt Microsoft Office first, uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks Desktop. When youre done, go back into QuickBooks and export a report. If you still cant, you may need to follow the steps from Microsoft to uninstall and reinstall Excel.
