You can replace NA values with blank space on columns of R dataframe (data. frame) by using is.na() , replace() methods. And use dplyr::mutateif() to replace only on character columns when you have mixed numeric and character columns, use dplyr::mutateat() to replace on multiple selected columns by index and name.
These blanks are actually inserted by using space key on computers. Therefore, if a data frame has any column with blank values then those rows can be removed by using subsetting with single square brackets.
You can replace NA values with blank space on columns of R dataframe (data. frame) by using is.na() , replace() methods.
Using R replace() function to update Empty String with NA R has a built-in function called replace() that replaces values in a vector with another value, for example, blank space with NAs.
