Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can convert a PDF file to an Excel spreadsheet. PDF is by far one of the most popular file types and you might have some data hidden away in a PDF that youd like to analyze in Microsoft Excel. Unfortunately, its not incredibly intuitive for how you could take data from a PDF and bring it into Microsoft Excel. It turns out its pretty easy to do, and Im going to show you step-by-step how you can get your data out of a PDF into an Excel file. All right, well why dont we jump on the PC and get started here? Here I am on my PC, and I have a PDF file sitting on my desktop and Id like to bring the data into Excel to analyze it. Lets take a quick look at whats in the PDF. I have the PDF file open and its a fairly typical PDF. I have an image at the top. I have some text below it, and then heres the portion of the PDF that I want to bring into Excel. Description Select the cell that you want to evaluate. On the Formulas tab, in the Formula Auditing group, click Evaluate Formula. Click Evaluate to examine the value of the underlined reference. Continue until each part of the formula has been evaluated. To see the evaluation again, click Restart.
Simply select a cell in a data range select the Analyze Data button on the Home tab. Analyze Data in Excel will analyze your data, and return interesting visuals about it in a task pane.

Export Data to MS Excel Select your survey, then click Data. A pop-up will appear, asking you to prepare your raw data for export. As your data is prepared, you can navigate to other sections to complete any other tasks. Once your data is prepared, click on Export Responses.
Take a screenshot of the table, then click Data Data From Picture Picture From Clipboard. Make sure your screenshot only includes the data you want to import.
The Evaluate Formula feature walks you through each argument in a formula to help identify and fix any mistakes. You can also use it to understand complex formulas, seeing how each part of a nested function is calculated to docHub the final result.
